Coconut monkeys
Coconuts can be a problem, especially if one comes crashing your roof or hits you on the head. Local people for generations have trained Gibbons to help them remove the coconuts.
The coconuts are then sold for their delicious milk and soft flesh, one of the most hygienic sources of liquid nouishment known to man. Coconut yoghurt is especially delicious.
These monkeys are typically very well treated
as one of the family. These are not to be confused with the Gibbons that used to be used by bars and abused. You can see working monkeys all over the island and there are even special shows where you can watch them being trained.

Hi there, we are Steve and Bobbi and we'd like to invite you to see, feel, touch and taste the real Phuket. Away from the herds and crowded beaches our charming little complex consists of just nine air conditioned bungalows, set in a lush tropical garden is minutes away from secluded beaches, local markets selling fish straight off the boat.
A short motorbike or car ride (we can arrange rental of both at very little cost) will take you into the heart of the island's capital Phuket Town with its wonderful nightlife, restaurants and shopping.

We have a restaurant and bar serving the best of the locally grown or caught produce and a small bar with a great atmosphere for relaxing at any time of the day. We have a large screen projector for the big screen sports and a fully featured Karaoke rig which Steve frightens people with. (Just kidding he's quite good actually) We have also Adapted Rooms For Wheelchairs Users.

Our bungalows for rent are set in the heart of local village and you will get to know everyone if you want to. Naturally because of our location your privacy and security are guaranteed.
We offer all the services of a big hotel, laundry, free wifi, and can arrange tours or show tickets for you. We have never had a request we could not meet so give us a try.
